Hana's Suitcase was commissioned and developed by the Lorraine Kimsa Theatre for Young People (Artistic Director - Allen MacInnis; Managing Director - Nancy Webster). It was workshopped and received a public reading as part of the National Arts Centre's On the Verge New Play Reading Festival 2005.
